Lets not loose the sight of what this is about. This is not about whether Slavery is right or wrong. This is about a theft that occured against the Caldari State. The ends do not justify the means. State property has been stolen, and the corporation that is entitled to that property is suffering from the loss of it.
The state property needs to be returned. It will be up to the Corporation what the future of the Doctors research is. The Doctor has no authority to make that decision.
Your debates of the merits/demerits of Slavery have no place here.
The good Doctor and his wife need to return home. Any delay will not be to their benefit.

The nature of the research is not a factor here. The research, its future and its profits are part of the Caldari State. This is a case of a theft. The Doctors actions are irresponsible and dangerous. Mind you, if he fails, is destroyed or falls ill, then it is all lost. Nobody gets anything - remember that. The Doctor has taken it up him, without approval, to decide a fate that was not his to decide.
He NEEDS to return home. Only the State can offer him what he seeks.

The involvement of yet ANOTHER pirate group attempting to steal the State's property is not alarming. If the Blood Raiders decide to intervene and take State property, it will only be a chance for me to add to my already large collection of Blood Raider Tags.
As you see Doctor, this has gone beyond what you wanted. Return home before blood must be shed because of your ill choices.
